Justin and Drew?

Drew Barrymore has just signed on to star opposite her former boyfriend in the romantic comedy, "Going the Distance." Now there are rumors circling about a possible new flame between Drew and Justin Long. Fueling the curiosity, Justin and Drew were spotted this weekend at the Farmers Market in Hollywood. Their people have declined to comment on their dating or not dating status. Barrymore and Long were once a dating item but broke up last July after seeing each other for nearly a year. They co-starred in the Barrymore produced movie, "He's Just Not That Into You." Drew will next be seen opposite Jessica Lange in director Michael Sucsy's, "Grey Gardens," premiering April 18 on HBO. Justin stars opposite Kristen Bell and Meg Ryan in, "Serious Moonlight," also out next month.

Bikini Bertinelli

"What am I so afraid of? Come on – it's just a bathing suit!" Those are the words that Valerie Bertinelli told herself after a sleepless night. She was trying to prepare for her first public showing of her body in a bikini in after about thirty years. Valerie is best known for her role as Bonnie Franklin's daughter, Barbara Cooper Royer, on the long-running television series One Day at a Time and her marriage to Eddie Van Halen (1981–2007). Part of her interpretation about the bikini was due to her age. Valerie turns 49 on April 23rd but from the People mag cover it looks like time is on her side. Besides the bikini coming out, she is also proud of all the weight lost recently. Read the People article, Click Here.

Michael Jackson Sues To Halt Auction

Photo-
Michael in better
times.

Michael Jackson hired Hollywood's Julien's Auctions to sell off the contents of his Neverland Ranch but now it appears that he has some "reservations" about the deal. Michael filed a lawsuit in early March in which he claimed that he had never given permission for the sale of many of his "priceless and irreplaceable" items. The auction house has said it is still pressing ahead with the sale of some 2,000 items in April. Julien's Auctions contested the lawsuit, saying that Michael's reps. were involved all along until the apparent change of mind by Jackson. The auction house president, Darren Julien, even said in a sworn statement filed with a Los Angeles court that the singer's representatives even tried to intimidate him into postponing the sale. According to Julien, Jackson's employees warned that the auctioneers would be in danger from Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, if they didn't call it off. A Jackson attorney stated that Darren Julien was just trying to divert attention away from himself and onto Michael.
Some items are scheduled to be on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City's Times Square this week which include: one of Michael's signature black fedoras; two of his MTV Video Music Awards; costumes he wore on tour in the 1980s and several of those crystal-encrusted gloves.

Waxy Build Up?

New Jersey state Cosmetology and Hairstyling Board proposed banning "Brazilian" bikini waxing after two women were hospitalized for infections after the procedure. The ban was considered after the two women complained to the board about their injuries. Consumer Affairs Director David Szuchman stopped the ban. In a letter to the board, Szuchman wrote that he would not support the ban. Seeing as how his office oversees the board, the ban could then never be approved. No other U.S. state is known to ban the procedure and millions of American women, including some men, choose to have their pubic hair ripped away. Most salons in New Jersey charge $50 to $60 for bikini waxing.

Warrant For Lindsay Lohan

Click photo for larger.

Beverly Hills, California police say an arrest warrant has been issued for actress, model and singer Lindsay Lohan. A court issued the warrant on Friday. Lohan pleaded guilty or no contest to DUI and cocaine charges after she crashed her Mercedes into a tree in Beverly Hills in 2007 and later chased the mother of an acquaintance into Santa Monica in an SUV. Lindsay has since been on three years of probation. Since no details have been released about the warrant, it is a good chance that she has violated the terms of her probation.

Poison's Bret Michaels

Click photos for larger.

Bret Michaels promises to tell all when he publishes his autobiography, "Roses and Thorns: The Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy to My Reality," "It will give people the untold story," Michaels tells Billboard.com of the Simon & Schuster book, which hits shelves in June. "It gives you the sex, the drugs, the rock 'n' roll, but it also gives you the diabetes. It gives you every aspect of my life and what I'm going through. I think it's pretty frank. It's honest. It's at times self-deprecating. It's about what happens when you try to live out your dream and the reality of it all sets in and it's the hardest and the strangest thing you will ever do. I think when you read it you'll really get the understanding of what it's all about." Michaels wants to separate "Roses and Thorns" from rock 'n' roll tell-alls such as Motley Crue's "The Dirt" and Aerosmith's "Walk This Way." "Those books stood on their own. This one has its own identity," he says. But he does promise revelations about Poison, and particularly his well-known conflicts with guitarist CeCe DeVille. "One of the most therapeutic things to write was (about) the constant battle between CeCe and myself and the reality of why it is constantly there and why it exists," Michaels says. "Getting into a fist fight wtih someone who is your friend is one of the harder things to live with, much less write about." "Roses and Thorns" is just one project in a busy year for Michaels, who turns 46 on Sunday (March 15). He's working on a new solo album that he hopes to release this summer and which he describes as "a mix of some of my stuff with rock, with Americana, country ... I don't know where you put that other than being kind of a rock sound." He's also priming Poison for a summer tour with Def Leppard and Cheap Trick that kicks off June 23 in Camden, N.J. And he's in the midst of his third VH1 dating show, "Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels," which ends April 5. Michaels has not found lasting love in the first two versions of the show, but he's holding out hope that the third time will be the charm. "I'm having a blast," Michaels says. "I think if you see the show, it's as real as can be. I'm not trying to play this holier-than-thou rock star. I'm just trying to play, and (am) having a good time dating. And it's allowed me to have that much TV exposure, which definitely hasn't hurt. I'm certainly not complaining."

Drew Barrymore, Director

Click photo for larger.

Drew Barrymore is in talks to direct Eclipse, the third installment in the Twilight franchise. According to Entertainment Weekly, Barrymore is among the top choices to follow in the footsteps of Catherine Hardwicke, who piloted Twilight, and Chris Weitz, who's about to start filming the first sequel, New Moon. Hardwicke has declined because she "felt she didn't have enough breathing room to do the follow-up justice." Drew has just wrapped her feature-directing debut with Whip It!, starring Ellen Page.
