For future reference, if you're ever in England and get a hankering to chain up a Norweigan male escort ... don't. The British justice system does not look kindly upon this, as former Culture Club frontman Boy George has discovered.
A judge sentenced the singer to 15 months in jail following his December conviction for falsely imprisoning Auden Carlsen, the Associated Press reports.
Boy George had met Carlsen online and invited him to his house to pose for nude pictures, then later accused Carlsen of hacking into his computer. When Boy George invited Carlsen to return, the singer handcuffed him to a wall and beat him, prosecutors claimed.
Boy George's lawyer says that both the singer and the escort behaved like "drug-crazed idiots," and that the singer's substance abuse problems were a factor.
